McKenzies Mill Signs Management Deal With Rock Ridge Music<\/b><\/p>\n

Country duo to enter studio in March,\u00a0<\/b>New Voice Entertainment set to produce EP<\/b><\/p>\n

Nashville-based country duo McKenzies Mill (composed of brothers Justin and Ryan Harris), known for their \u201cSouthern fried rock \u2019n roll,\u201d has signed a management deal with Nashville music company Rock Ridge Music. \u00a0They join the existing management roster which includes Christian Lopez Band, Grace & Tony, JD Eicher, Moonsville Collective, Riley Etheridge Jr., and Ike Reilly.<\/p>\n

Says Justin Harris about the management deal: \u00a0\u201cWe couldn’t be more excited about our recent signing with Rock Ridge. To be able to work with industry vets like Tom Derr and Cynthia Cochrane is exactly what we feel we need. On top of being great at what they do, they are awesome people who are driven to make things happen and help us take our careers to the next level.\u201d<\/p>\n

Says Rock Ridge Music CEO Tom Derr about the deal with McKenzies Mill: \u00a0\u201cTwo great guys, many great songs, and a strong work ethic… why would we not bring that into our world!”<\/p>\n

McKenzies Mill is scheduled to go into Soundstage Studios in Nashville in March with New Voice Entertainment set to produce their EP. \u00a0New Voice is the production company formed by Rich Redmond, Tully Kennedy, Kurt Allison, and David Fanning, and NVE\u2019s production credits include Thompson Square, Katie Armiger, and Parmalee.<\/p>\n

Says Ryan Harris about the deal with New Voice: \u00a0\u201cWe knew right away after sitting down with these guys that this was the perfect fit for us. There are a ton of talented people in Nashville so you really have to be aware of that \u2018it\u2019 factor, and these dudes have \u2018it!\u2019 After many production meetings with several different producers, we looked at each other right away after sitting down with NVE and knew we had found the right guys to cut our upcoming EP! These guys have a very artistic point of view. They live it, just as we do, and can truly relate to what it means to be on stage, on the road, constantly creating.\u201d<\/p>\n

McKenzies Mill has previously released two albums, \u201cOne Hell of a Ride\u201d and a self-titled album. In addition to being named a CMA Band to Watch by\u00a0CMA Close-Up<\/i>\u00a0magazine in 2014, the duo also won Bud Light\u2019s National Battle of the Bands in 2012. \u00a0Originally from West End, NC, the pair of brothers\u2014who named the band after the street they grew up on\u2014now calls Nashville home. Known for, according to Justin, \u201ccountry songs with some screaming guitar solos,\u201d their music is also highlighted by undeniable sibling harmonies. \u201cSince we\u2019re brothers, there is a pure, unrelenting honesty between us which definitely comes through in our writing. This gives us such a unique, natural thing when we sing and create music together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their live show has won over rock and country fans all across the nation. \u201cSinging together on stage feels like home to us,\u201d says Ryan. \u201cEverything we write has to go for a little live \u2018test drive.\u2019 If a song doesn’t have an impact on our fans in a live setting, it doesn\u2019t make the cut. Energy is the key to our show.\u201d<\/p>\n
