Fans must purchase a cabin through the duo\u2019s site on Fan Club Cruises (<a href=\"https:\/\/fanclubcruises.com\/event\/mathas-trouble-concert-cruise\" data-type=\"url\" data-name=\"https:\/\/fanclubcruises.com\/event\/mathas-trouble-concert-cruise\">https:\/\/fanclubcruises.com\/event\/mathas-trouble-concert-cruise<\/a>) in order to partake in three Martha\u2019s Trouble concerts, a meet-and-greet, and a very special Q&amp;A storytelling session during the course of the cruise.\u00a0 The fan club offering is limited to 50 cabins, so the shows and special Martha\u2019s Trouble events on-board the ship will be intimate and personal for fans who join the fun. Departing from Port Canaveral, Florida, the cruise will visit Labadee in Haiti, San Juan in Puerto Rico, and Phillipsburg in St. Maarten, before returning to Florida.<\/p>\n<p>Said Rob and Jen about the upcoming cruise: \u201cWe are so excited to have discovered Fan Club Cruises. \u00a0What a killer concept &#8211; artist and fan together on a cruise ship! \u00a0It\u2019s a great opportunity for our fans and friends from all across the US and Canada to join us for a seven-night cruise filled with concerts, storytelling, and Q&amp;A sessions. \u00a0Plus, they also get to enjoy all that the ship has to offer. \u00a0It\u2019s going to be amazing \u2013 we can\u2019t wait!\u00a0 Our hope is to make it an annual event.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Martha\u2019s Trouble, called \u201ca hidden gem\u201d by\u00a0<em>Billboard Magazine<\/em>, is known for its signature sound of folk and Americana, which has been praised by some of the most influential and well-respected music critics of our time. Martha\u2019s Trouble has been listed and featured in the aforementioned\u00a0<em>Billboard Magazine<\/em>, as well as\u00a0<em>USA Today<\/em>, AOL Music, Sirius XM Satellite Radio, and\u00a0<em>Performing Songwriter<\/em>. Their songs have received awards and have been featured in the show \u201cArmy Wives\u201d and made-for-TV movies on Lifetime and CBS. The duo\u2019s band name comes from a Bible story about Martha and Mary, one that they say is a reminder to stop and smell the roses and to keep an eye on the bigger picture and the important things in life.<\/p>\n<p>In late 2015, Martha\u2019s Trouble offered some new additions to their holiday repertoire with two digital singles, \u201cRiver\u201d and \u201cWhite Christmas,\u201d which followed on the success of two independent holiday albums,\u00a0<i>Christmas Lights<\/i>\u00a0(2002) and\u00a0<i>This Christmas<\/i>\u00a0(2008). Prior to that, they also released:<i>\u00a0Jen Coates\u2019 Seed Sessions<\/i>\u00a0(2014),\u00a0<i>A Little Heart Like You<\/i>\u00a0(2012),\u00a0<em>Anchor Tattoo\u00a0<\/em>(2011),\u00a0<em>EP<\/em>\u00a0(2008),\u00a0<em>Forget October\u00a0<\/em>(2006),\u00a0<em>Still\u00a0<\/em>(2003),\u00a0<em>Sleeping Dogs<\/em>\u00a0(2002), and\u00a0<em>The Road Ahead<\/em>\u00a0(2000).<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, Martha\u2019s Trouble purchased an historical Victorian house, originally built in 1907, in downtown Opelika, Alabama, and they rehabbed the abode into a creative studio space over the course of a year, opening the doors to the public in March of 2017.
