Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter-pianist Maggie McClure is set to release her new album, Time Moves On<\/em>, on February 11, 2014, on her own label.\u00a0 A majestic and atmospheric album of her most intimate songwriting, Time Moves On<\/em> was produced by Justin Glasco (Dan Wilson, Tyler Hilton, Gary Jules, Margaret Cho, Adrianne Gonzalez, Garrison Starr and Cary Brothers).<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel extremely connected to this album,\u201d McClure says.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s very personal, and I did a lot experimenting. \u00a0I didn\u2019t want to play it safe.\u00a0 It\u2019s about embarking on new and unpredictable journeys and making improvements to create your future.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

Time Moves On<\/em> is ethereal and expansive, with achingly gorgeous vocals, moody guitars, and playfully quirky keyboard touches. \u00a0The album chronicles her move from Norman, Oklahoma to Los Angeles to further pursue her music career, and a new and empowered outlook on life based on being brave enough to seek out and embrace a centered existence.\u00a0 Time Moves On<\/em> follows a self-titled album, two EPs, a handful of singles, an impressive synch licensing resume, and nearly a thousand shows.<\/p>\n

McClure\u2019s gift for confessional songwriting that\u2019s broad appealing has enabled her music to garner plum synch placements. Her songs have appeared in the film Cowgirls N’ Angels,<\/em> and in such television shows as Dr. Phil<\/em>, The Real World<\/em>, Worst Prom Ever<\/em>, The Hills<\/em>, The City<\/em>, The Vineyard<\/em>, and The Young And The Restless<\/em>. As a performer, she\u2019s done a staggering 750+ shows across the United States\u2014on separate occasions opening for\u00a0Sara Bareilles and Tony Lucca.\u00a0 She sang the National Anthem at the\u00a0first NBA playoff game in Oklahoma history with more than 18,000 people in attendance.<\/p>\n

Additionally, McClure has been knocking on different doors of the entertainment business to further her music career. \u00a0She\u00a0was a featured background extra on Matthew Morrison’s (Mr. Schu in Glee<\/em>) music video for \u201cIt Don’t Mean A Thing,\u201d and she is currently singing the role of Violetta on the English version of Disney Channel Latin America’s Violetta<\/em> that is airing in the UK and across the globe.<\/p>\n

A major factor of McClure\u2019s success has been her hardworking nature. She is completely independent, and assumes the roles of label, booking agent, and manager. \u201cI\u2019m a true believer that if you want something to happen, you have to make it happen.\u201d<\/p>\n
