The comedy rock never stops for Psychostick<\/strong> as the humorcore masters gear up for their next rage across the US for their “The ‘Merica F*ck Yeah Tour”<\/strong> kicking off in Amityville, NY on May 29th<\/strong> and wrapping up in St. Louis, MO on June 27th.<\/strong>\u00a0The band will be joined by Dog Fashion Disco<\/strong> and The Bunny The Bear<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Harnessing their crazy sense of humor and love of all things metal, vocalist Rob \u201cRawrb\u201d\u00a0Kersey and guitarist Josh \u201cThe J\u201d\u00a0Key joined forces with\u00a0drummer Alex \u201cShmalex\u201d Dontre and bassist\u00a0\u00a0Matty J \u201cMoose\u201d\u00a0to create Pyschostick, a band they’ve coined as humorcore. With\u00a0hilarious lyrics, heavy riffs, notorious stage antics and high-energy performances, the band has\u00a0caused millions of laughs around the world and hundreds of mosh pits across the US, often simultaneously, since its birth in Phoenix, AZ in 2000.<\/p>\n

Almost 100 percent do-it-yourself, Psychostick<\/strong> never strays from its signature sound, a combination of heavy music that Chimaira, Machine Head, and Hatebreed would be proud of, and wit and humor that would make Tenacious D and Weird Al Yankovic holler with laughter.<\/p>\n

With three full-length albums behind them \u2013 \u201cWe Couldn\u2019t Think of a Title,\u201d \u201cSandwich,\u201d and their holiday album, \u201cThe Flesh Eating Rollerskate Holiday Joyride\u201d – the band released their latest record, \u201cSpace Vampires vs. Zombie Dinosaurs in 3D,\u201d in 2011, following it up with a tour with Mushroomhead to add to their total count of 21 nationwide tours that have hit 47 states.<\/p>\n

After a successful 2013 that saw these touring ninja warriors hit the road for multiple shows on the “Our Tour Can Beat Up Your Tour,” “Blow Your Fingers Off” summer tour, their late summer dates with American Head Charge plus appearances at summer fests that included Rockapalooza, A2 Fest,\u00a0Breast Fest\u00a0Biker Bash, and Dirtfest.\u00a0 The band finally took a break in the last months of the year and held a successful crowd funding campaign (thank you video http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=iSeQHqMCfJI<\/a>), and they are now currently in studio recording their follow up to 2011’s “Space Vampires vs. Zombie Dinosaurs In 3D<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n
