Fans of the ever-growing comedic metal band\u00a0PSYCHOSTICK\u00a0will have a special treat this\u00a0week. Nine months after a successful crowd-funding campaign to build a studio with promise of new material,\u00a0PSYCHOSTICK\u00a0is ready to give the first sneak-peek at what they\u2019ve been working on. The guys will be\u00a0broadcasting live on YouTube\u00a0September 18th at 8pm\u00a0Central\u00a0(http:\/\/www.psychostick.com\/webcast<\/a>)\u00a0to announce the new album\u2019s title, answer questions, give away prizes and have an all-around good time goofing off with fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe feel we\u2019ve stepped up our game with every aspect of this new album, and we\u2019re treating the webcast the same way,” comments vocalist Rob Kersey. \u00a0“Fans have always loved these webcasts in the past, but this time there are some serious improvements to maximize interaction and make it something no fan will want to miss.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0new album is the follow up\u00a0to the\u00a0humorcore kings\u2019\u00a02011 album \u2018Space Vampires VS Zombie Dinosaurs in 3-D\u2019 and singles\u00a0\u2018Obey The Beard\u2019,\u00a0\u2018Dogs Like Socks\u2019, a\u00a0hilarious metal cover of \u2018Reading Rainbow.\u2019 Touring around the US of A over the years spreading their laugh making tunes,\u00a0PSYCHOSTICK\u00a0was on a series of tours this summer and spring recently wrapping their Blood Sprinkles and Guts Tour with One Eyed Doll, Wild Throne and \u2018The \u2018Merica F*ck Yeah Tour\u2019 w\/ Dog Fashion Disco, The Bunny, The Bear.<\/p>\n

Harnessing their crazy sense of humor and love of all things metal, vocalist Rob \u201cRawrb\u201d\u00a0Kersey and guitarist Josh \u201cThe J\u201d\u00a0Key joined forces with\u00a0drummer Alex \u201cShmalex\u201d Dontre and bassist\u00a0\u00a0Matty J \u201cMoose\u201d\u00a0to create Pyschostick, a band they\u2019ve coined as humorcore. With\u00a0hilarious lyrics, heavy riffs, notorious stage antics and high-energy performances, the band has\u00a0caused millions of laughs around the world and hundreds of mosh pits across the US, often simultaneously, since its birth in Phoenix, AZ in 2000.<\/p>\n

Almost 100 percent do-it-yourself,\u00a0Psychostick\u00a0never strays from its signature sound, a combination of heavy music that Chimaira, Machine Head, and Hatebreed would be proud of, and wit and humor that would make Tenacious D and Weird Al Yankovic holler with laughter.<\/p>\n

With three full-length albums behind them \u2013 \u201cWe Couldn\u2019t Think of a Title,\u201d \u201cSandwich,\u201d and their holiday album, \u201cThe Flesh Eating Rollerskate Holiday Joyride\u201d \u2013 the band released their latest record, \u201cSpace Vampires vs. Zombie Dinosaurs in 3D,\u201d in 2011, following it up with a tour with Mushroomhead to add to their total count of 21 nationwide tours that have hit 47 states.<\/p>\n

After a successful 2013 that saw these touring ninja warriors hit the road for multiple shows on the \u2018Our Tour Can Beat Up Your Tour\u2019, \u2018Blow Your Fingers Off\u2019 summer tour, their late summer dates with American Head Charge plus appearances at summer fests that included Rockapalooza, A2 Fest,\u00a0Breast Fest\u00a0Biker Bash, and Dirtfest.\u00a0 The band finally took a break in last months of the year and held a successful crowd funding campaign (thank you video –\u00a0http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=iSeQHqMCfJI<\/a>), where they recorded\u00a0their follow up to 2011\u2019s\u00a0\u2018Space Vampires vs. Zombie Dinosaurs In 3D\u2019.<\/p>\n
