Isabel Rose is set to release a pair of songs to radio just in time for the holidays.\u00a0 The just-recorded radio single, \u201cHanukkah, Oh Hanukkah,\u201d along with \u201cNever Satisfied\u201d (the most-requested song from her latest album, Trouble in Paradise<\/em>), will be hitting radio this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cHanukkah, Oh Hanukkah,\u201d a traditional Jewish holiday song, was produced by Julian Fleisher (who recently produced Ana Gasteyer\u2019s new album currently occupying the #4 spot on the iTunes jazz chart).\u00a0 \u201cHanukkah, Oh Hanukkah\u201d features a signature Rose style:\u00a0 a fresh jazz-waltz mixed with a traditional Christmas melody called \u201cCarol of the Bells.\u201d Players on the recording include Clifford Carter (piano\/Fender Rhodes), Arthur Vint (drums), Thomas Hubbard (bass), and Mark Sherman (vibraphone).<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter a lifetime of Christmas carol envy, I decided to bring a little sass to a song from my own heritage,\u201d says Rose.\u00a0 \u201cSince there are only three Hanukkah songs in existence (at least that I’m aware of), I chose the one that best lent itself to my purposes. I hope you like the results as much as I do! I think it’s a swingin\u2019 way to welcome in the holiday season no matter what your religious identification is!\u201d<\/p>\n

Isabel Rose released her CD, Trouble In Paradise<\/em>, on September 16, 2014.\u00a0 The album was produced by the legendary Bob Rock and was\u00a0inspired by a time when America was aglow with Kennedy\u2019s Camelot by day and lit by the lights of Rat Pack Vegas by night.\u00a0 Trouble in Paradise <\/em>delivers thirteen tracks that are infectious, charming and completely refreshing. The title track of Isabel\u2019s CD, also called \u201cTrouble In Paradise,\u201d hit #31 on the Mediabase Adult Contemporary radio chart.<\/p>\n
