54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, presents Isabel Rose as she celebrates the release of her CD “Trouble In Paradise.” The album, distributed by RED (a division of Sony Entertainment), is produced by the legendary Bob Rock, and inspired by a time when America was aglow with Kennedy’s Camelot by day, and lit by the lights of Rat Pack Vegas by night. Isabel will be performing at 54 BELOW on Wednesday, October 1st at 9:30pm

“Trouble in Paradise” delivers thirteen tracks that are infectious, charming and completely refreshing. The title track of Isabel’s CD, also called “Trouble In Paradise,” is currently #39 on the Mediabase Adult Contemporary radio chart.

Backed by a five-piece band and backup dancers, Isabel promises an exuberant and exciting evening of entertainment at 54 BELOW, delivering favorites from the American Songbook and pop canon. At turns sassy and brassy, sultry and sophisticated, and always with charm, Rose is a showgirl at heart offering her own interpretations of classic songs as well as some surprises.

The New York Times writes, “Miss Rose knows how to belt them out and delivers big production numbers with appeal,” while JazzTimes raves, “She goes stiletto-to-stiletto with Ann-Margret!” “A star is born,” agrees Vogue MagazineThe Advocate cheers, “watch Rose stir up mischief onstage,” and The Nation calls “Trouble In Paradise” “a unique mixture of styles… a thoroughly charming experience.  …Rose stretch[es] not only the conventions of cabaret style performance, but also the so-called ‘Great American Songbook.”

AXS.com says “The album exhibits Isabel’s meticulous attention to detail as much as it validates her ability to create an exemplary work of musical rapture. Everything from the feline purr of her oft breathy and sultry vocals, which parallel the swagger of such greats as Frank and Dean, to the subtleties of the exquisite spot on yet remarkably fresh and inventive arrangements, she nails everything just right.”

“Trouble In Paradise” (distributed by BDG/RED, a division of Sony Music Entertainment), is available on iTunes and Amazon and from select distributors.
